My thoughts: So maybe I was lured by the lovely lilac can but right from the first spray the flower fragrance had me hooked. I loved everything about this deodorant. The gorgeous scent is delightfully delicate and not too overpowering which is really calming after a stressful day. It was gentle enough to use on my sensitive prone skin and after a week of use my skin was considerably softer. I was doubtful that it would deliver on its promise of a closer shave but I was surprisingly impressed with the results. However, I found that I needed to apply it both morning and night to fight perspiration.
Product ingredients: Butane, Aqua,Isobutane, Propane, Cyclomethicone, Aluminum Chlorohydrate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dicaprylyl Ether, Butyloctanoic Acid, Persea Gratissima Oil, Cetly PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Polygly-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Polysorbate 65, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Benzyl Alcohol, Parfum.
The pros:
- Alcohol free
- lovely non-overpowering sent
- softens skin
- provides a closer save
- perfect for sensitive skin
The cons:
- doesn't provide complete 24 hour protection as it claims. I found I had to re-apply and most days I'm at home. It's not a product I would recommend if you sweat excessively.
Would I purchase this again?: It's not a product I would buy for the Australian summer but I would definitely buy it again in the winter months.
