Card Making Monday: Embossed heart with butterfly Valentine's Day card

by - Monday, January 30, 2012

I created a Valentine's Day card a couple of weeks ago. Here's what I came up with:

I really like this one. I am thrilled that I punched the paper correctly, it only took me four attempts! Border punches are so hard to use when the punch doesn't cover your entire paper. For your information, the beautiful butterfly I've used is cut out from a kasiercraft paper (mentioned below).

Materials used: Pre-cut white cardstock with gold trimming. Kaisercraft cardstock in lollypop. Sandylion paper in sweet pixie. Kaisercraft flutterby collection in monarch. Sizzix flower lattic embossing folder. Kaisercraft self adhesive rhinestones in red. Kaisercraft self adhesive pearls in snow. American Crafts thickers (chip board stickers) in mullberry. Red twine from D-lish Scraps. Fiskars apron lace border punch.
