Crafty Fridays: Projects in progress

by - Friday, November 11, 2011

These are some of the crafty projects I have planned to work on over the next few coming months. I am quite excited about them!

I bought this at an op shop. I plan on painting it and turning it into a pretty home for some of my nail polish. It's going to look great on display in my craft studio! I just have to decide whether I want it pink or purple.

I picked up this mirror from an op shop too. I thought it had shabby chic potential. I'm probably going to do it up shabby chic style. How it turns out will depend on whether I use it in my craft studio or bedroom.

I've had this glass box for a few years and I just don't know what to do with it. I think I might give it another coat of pink and pop some gorgeous butterflies and flowers in there and turn it into a wall hanging.

I'm considering turning this spice rack into either another storage place for my nail polish or some sort of craft tool storage. I'm sure I'll find some functional use for it.

This is a paper mache box ready for decorating. I can't decide on making it into a christmas gift box or an easter treasure chest. Maybe I'll just go buy another one and make both!

I have huge plans for this plaque. I've been meaning to do it up for over a year now but just haven't had the motivation because what I'm wanting to do is going to take a lot of work. I'm keeping my plans for this one a secret because I want to surprise you with my creative genius when I've finished it. I reckon this will be something that will sell well at craft markets.

I really want to do this letter holder up in vintage style. I can see how amazing it will be!

I made this letter holder for my mum when I did wood work back in year 7. I thought it looked great at the time, but it definitely needs to be re-done now. The paint is so dreary and the butterflies are broken. I'm hoping to be able to do it up country style to suit our new kitchen!

I've always wanted to make an advent calender. I am so excited! I have some gorgeous papers ready to go! I can see this taking a lot of work, I just hope I finish it before December. I've got plenty to keep me busy!
