Scrapping Sunday: Make a wish

I'm pretty happy with how this layout turned out, except for the stupid rhinestone flourish which was suppose to connect the two photos much better than this.

Gosh I had a hell of a time applying that thing. I got so frustrated that I ended up whacking it anywhere, totally disregarding the points I penciled for it. Pretty sure that's not what the flourish looked like in the packet but oh well, I tried.


I used Tutti Frutti from kaiser craft's Candy Lane Collection as my background paper and then stuck down a cupcake (also from the Candy Lane Collection). I love this collection, it's just so cute and fun!


Then I stuck down my photos ready to bring on the bling!



Originally I had planned to do a ballerina or fairy theme for these photos but I decided to use up what I already had in my stash to save some money.

It took me a couple of hours to whack this together, purely because of the ridiculous amount of rhinestones and pearls I used... kind of went a bit overboard but it makes it look so girly and pretty!
