Are you struggling to come up with Christmas gift ideas? Why not make some chocolate butternut snap tartlets! Because what's Christmas without good chocolate? And is there anything better than a handmade gift? Nope.
These little tartlets are divine- they are so quick and simple to make and they would make the perfect gift this Christmas. Just wrap them up in a gift box or some pretty cellophane and you're good to go! I know I'll be making these little sweet treats for gifts this Christmas.
before baking
Ingredients: 1x 250g butternut snap cookie, 1/3 cup cream, 200g dark or milk chocolate, 65g unsalted butter
prior to refrigeration
Step #1: Preheat oven at 180°C.
Step #2: Place 12 biscuits on a shallow muffin hole tray and bake 2-3 minutes until soft.
Step # 3: Press biscuits into the shape of the hole. Cool.
Step #4: Remove biscuits and use remaining biscuits following steps 2-4.
Step #5: Place biscuits on a tray.
Step #6: Place butter, cream, and chocolate in saucepan. Stir constantly on low heat for 7 minutes.
Step #7: Refrigerate chocolate mixture for 20 minutes.
Step #8. Fill biscuit cases with chocolate mixture and refrigerate until set.

Yummo! I make a similar one but put a dollop of the Carnation Caramel (the one in the can) on before the chocolate. Divine. They never seem to last past a day. :)
